Richie Wellens has been appointed Swindon Town’s new manager, the League Two club have confirmed.Wellens, 38, takes charge of the County Ground club two days after Phil Brown was sacked from his position with Swindon struggling in the lower reaches of the table; the Robins sit 17th after 17 games, having won on just five occasions.
