And to get fans in the mood for their highly-anticipated homecoming, the club have shown how the impressive 62,000-capacity stadium in north London came to be.Construction began in 2015 and was due to be completed in September 2018, but a series of setbacks have seen Tottenham play their home games at Wembley for the past two seasons. It boasts several revolutionary features, including the world’s first dividing, retractable football pitch, which reveals a synthetic turf pitch underneath forNFL London Games, concerts and other events.However, fans without a ticket will not be able to watch the first game against Crystal Palace – because neither Sky Sports nor BT Sport will televise it.
