However, it was his recollection of a series of events which left his wife Sandra requiring surgery which got the nation talking. The former West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur boss accidentally ran over his wife’s foot in 2016 after not realising her foot was still stuck in his Range Rover.Mrs Redknapp was rushed to hospital following the incident, undergoing emergency surgery which thankfully proved to be successful. The incident was brought up on Im A Celebrity during the Hell Holes task, which saw Harry team up with Nick Knowles to drive around in a jeep to collect tokens. Nick hopped in the driver’s seat, leaving Harry to navigate and retrieve tokens from the orifice containing mud crabs and spiders. As the pair travelled, Harry said: “I used to think I was a good driver but I had a nightmare and ran over my wife one day.Harry and his wife Sandra meet Prince Charles2

“She got out the car and I thought shed crossed the road and I pulled forward and she fell into the road and a bus stopped literally yards away.“The most amazing part of the story probably, my grand-daughter is sitting on top of the bus and sees all of this. Unreal.”Nick and Harry managed to complete the trial first over fellow campmates Fleur East and Anne Hegerty, meaning they had the first choice over the next set of teammates. The pair had a choice between Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson-Dwyer or Inbetweeners star Emily Atack, with Nick and Harry opting for Malique.
