Those two things were barely possible while Mourinho was in charge, after United experienced their worst start to a season in 28 years, and it seems almost certain that Solskjaer will be rewarded with the full-time job.Pogba has been central to the Red Devils resurgence, scoring nine goals in 17 matches under Solskjaer, and he says the Norwegian has restored the team’s confidence.“Of course we want him to stay,” Pogba told Sky. “The results have been great. I have a great relationship with him, he has a great relationship with the players. “When a player is happy, he wants to keep being happy. Solskjaer deserves it. The midfielder endured a turbulent relationship with Mourinho, with training ground bust-ups and reported dressing room fall-outs dominating the end of the Portuguese managers reign.However, Pogba refuses to criticise his former boss.“Maybe we lost confidence, maybe things went wrong,” Pogba added. “A lot of talking outside that we weren’t used to.
